My journey with Tai Chi began under the guidance of Master Zak Song, as a path toward physical recovery following a serious shoulder injury. Through the slow, deliberate movements of this ‘meditation in motion’, I'm not only regained my range of motion and strength but also discovered profound emotional and intellectual benefits. The practice provided a reliable sense of emotional resilience and calm.Inspired by the transformative success of my own recovery, I felt a deep calling to share these positive experiences with others. I started by informally teaching small groups of adults, before transitioning into tutoring Tai Chi for larger classes.

My methodology focuses on imparting controlled, slow, intentional Tai Chi movements tailored to each individual participant.Participants join my classes for various reasons, ranging from managing health conditions -such as stroke recovery, arthritis, cardiac conditions, post-surgery rehabilitation- to seeking a physical challenge with a bit of brain-gym on the side. The success of my programme can be measured by the increased attendance, which has doubled since I started with the group in 2024.I invite you to joi me and discover how Tai Chi can nourish your body and soul.

I have always had a healthy respect for Martial Arts in general, and the benefits that they bring for our wellbeing. I have studied and practiced martial arts for many years both in the U.K. and New Zealand. In my earlier years I was more focused on various Karate styles. In the latter years I became drawn towards the art of Tai- Chi and the benefits of Health and Wellbeing Tai-Chi and Qigong bring especially in our latter years.

Having studied and practiced these for a long while under the expert tuition of an " Authentic Master from the Shaolin Temple in China ". I now feel able to share my knowledge and abilities to others in gaining the benefits of traditional Tai- Chi . Being a qualified Adult Educational Trainer, I get great satisfaction of seeing others improve and develop their skills and abilities.

I can provide training at various levels to suit students of all ages and abilities so to gain the health and well being of traditional Tai- Chi.

I was born and raised in Davao City, Philippines, and later migrated to Melbourne, Australia. I am dedicated to Meditation (Chan/Zen) as a practice, and I share and teach methods that promote health and wellbeing through mindfulness and movement.

I am a Shaolin lay disciple, and I believe that Shaolin Kung Fu not only teaches us martial arts, but also in how to face and show-up in our day-to-day lives in an embodied way.

I value discipline coupled with compassion. I believe that training these Arts ultimately teaches us about our own self-mastery, how we relate to others, and develops us to be responsible custodians for our environment and communities.
I primarily teach Qigong for energy and healing based in the Inner North Suburbs of Melbourne, I am also equally passionate about training Shaolin Kung Fu.

If you are in Australia, feel free to reach out and visit me if you want to learn and train together.I learned my Kung Fu essentials and fundamentals from Master Zak Song and ever since I’ve been focusing on refining them and developing my skills through consistent training and continuous development through study and practice.
